I am SO honoured (and genuinely excited!) to be co-compèring the Positively Empowered Kids CIC Festival at Nottingham Castle on Sunday 22nd June.

And let me tell you — this is not just another family day out.

This is a superhero wellbeing festival designed to help children recognise their own strengths, build confidence and celebrate who they are.

And honestly? We need more of that.

A Festival Designed Around Children’s Wellbeing

Taking place at Nottingham Castle, this event was created to bring families, schools and communities together in a space that is fun, inclusive and empowering.

The day begun with the much-loved Superhero Cape Walk — designed by wellbeing specialists to help children understand their own “superpowers” and then walk together in celebration. There was a whole snake of caped heroes flying around the course, smiling from ear to ear.

That’s the kind of energy we’re talking about.

It’s fun, yes. But it’s also purposeful.

Why This Matters

We’re living in times where children are facing pressures many of us didn’t grow up with. Events like Positively Empowered Kids create space for joy, movement, creativity and wellbeing — all in one place.

It’s about reminding young people that they already have superpowers. Confidence. Kindness. Creativity. Resilience.

And what better setting than Nottingham Castle to celebrate that?

So proud to be able to help bring the energy on the mic and support a day dedicated to lifting our young people up.
